The Salisbury Cafe
Introducing The Salisbury Cafe: A hidden gem located at 178B West Rd, Westcliff-on-Sea, the recently revamped Salisbury Cafe offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere for local coffee lovers and breakfast enthusiasts alike. Under new ownership, the cafe is quickly making a name for itself with a diverse menu and a commitment to quality. Whether you're in the mood for a classic Full Breakfast, the Salisbury Special, or a unique Vegetarian Breakfast complete with Halloumi Cheese and Avocado, this cafe has something for everyone.
One of the standout features of The Salisbury Cafe is its emphasis on fresh ingredients and generous portions. Customers rave about the delightful breakfasts served on thick, delicious sourdough toast paired with delectable sides like crispy bacon, sausage, and perfectly cooked eggs. As one reviewer, Lee Turner, noted, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy an iced coffee while relaxing with your favorite paper, further highlighting the cafe's peaceful ambiance.
Yet, not every experience has been flawless. While many guests have praised the extensive and reasonably priced menu, there's been some feedback regarding the consistency of the dishes. For instance, Julia Ellis expressed disappointment with her sausage and egg sandwich, a reminder that, like any establishment, The Salisbury Cafe is on a journey to perfection.

I noticed this cafe is under new ownership so thought I'd pop in and give it a go today. I went for the set breakfast no.2 and switched out the beans for a fried slice, you also get sour dough toast with your breakfast. The food was amazing, I can't fault any part of the breakfast. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu is extensive and the prices extremely reasonable. Definitely be going back and I recommend you give it a go.
